Redundancy and Dismissal


Dealing with redundancy situations can be stressful for both employers, employees leaving the organisation and the employees that remain. 



There are often alternative solutions which can be explored to avoid redundancy and these can be considered first.


If an employer terminates an employment contract it must be for a fair reason, the correct process must be followed, applicable notice periods given and accurate payments must be made.
